Who doesn’t love a good copycat recipe, especially when it comes to PF Chang’s? Their lettuce wraps are to die for, and so easy to re-create at home! This Copycat PF Chang’s Chicken Lettuce Wraps recipe is going to be your new go-to when you are craving something light, low carb, and quick that will satisfy the whole family. In just a few simple steps, you can enjoy this restaurant-quality dish in only twenty or so minutes!

Crispy Rice Noodles

The first step is frying the rice noodles. Most recipes don’t include this step, but the crispy rice noodles are part of the deal at PF Chang’s so I can’t skip them either. They fry up in seconds, and it goes fast, so be sure to pay attention and move quickly. The main challenge is to keep them from browning. Just preheat some canola oil over medium heat, once its hot, go ahead and add in a few rice noodles at a time. Give them a flip, and drain them on paper towels or a wire rack.

Lettuce Wrap Filling

To make the lettuce wrap filling, whisk the soy sauce, hoisin, rice wine vinegar, sesame oil, dried ginger, minced garlic, sriracha, and cornstarch together until combined. Heat a large pan or cast iron skillet over medium-high heat with the 1 Tablespoon of canola oil. Once hot, add in the ground chicken and diced onion. Continue stirring and crumbling the ground chicken until it is a fine mince and mostly cooked through.

Stir in the water chestnuts and the prepared sauce mixture next, continuing to saute and let the sauce thicken for about 2 minutes. Mix in the sliced green onions and remove from the heat.

I love to serve these with a sauce for serving like PF Chang’s does. You can whip one up with some soy sauce and chili garlic sauce with a 2-to-1 ratio, respectively. It doesn’t get much better than that for a healthy, fast meal or appetizer that is sure to impress!
